main throttle does not control engines

my engines have recently stopped responding to the main throttle controls, but work when controlled manually with the right click menu. does anyone know what is going on?

Check your key binds, maybe the throttle controls got unset? Also check that you have full control of the vessel (green icon in the top left) rather than partial control (yellow icon).

Do either fine (shift/ctrl) or coarse (Z/X) throttle controls work?

it is right after i launched the vehicle, i am controlling it with a mark 2 lander can, all throttle controls move the UI throttle indicator. the engines are definately on and work with manual throttle
