Munar Colonization Program

Here is my refueling station, named Minos, orbiting in LKO. This was initially supposed to be an ordinary science station, but I decided to add to it and make it a space station after I initiated the Munar Colonization Program ( MCP), the missions mostly flown with SSTOs, to help me practice the art of building SSTOs and flying them efficiently & effectively.

 

Top segments: Fuel tanks 

Mid segment: Various crew compartments, with a science bay on the front and a solar array on the sides

Left port: The ND-44, built to fly merely to LKO and return, with the goal of sending crew to their Munar mission, or simply as an apparatus to send the crew to and from the station back home.

Right port: The NC-33, tasked to send Kerbals from station Minos to the station Asgretalos, in orbit around the Mun with 1-2 typical space-rated landers. The plane is to dock and refuel at the station, and drop off two Kerbals, with the pilot remaining to return to Kerbin. Landings are textbook, with decent accuracy to land on the KSC’s runway from Munar orbit.
