KSP RSS/RO/RP-1 Breaking Ground Parts

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. Honestly just trying to get propellers, motors, hinges etc back in my RP-1 install as it looks like it removed the Breaking ground because it doesn't have an RO config. Is there anyway to get these parts back in that will work as it should? All help appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

Unfortunately, as far as I know, there's no easy setting anywhere to fix that. But luckily for you, I had the same issue a while ago, and decided to do it myself. Here's a link to a trimmed down version of my personal set of patches, with just the bits you might want: https://file.garden/Zas-vyeEz3Xcc5vG/RP1Patches.zip

It adds robotics, lights, and the breaking ground propeller stuff to the tech tree. The robotic parts are unlocked with lunar materials science and the lights are unlocked by default, but I can change that to something else if you'd like! Nothing has been changed other than being actually unlockable, so the electricity costs may be a bit unbalanced one way or another, but it works good enough for me and hopefully should for you too.

Thank you very much. Yes i was mostly looking for the hinges, robotics, and propellers/motors. I was hoping someone had a config for it as it is pretty hard recreating the dragonfly mission without these things.  Thank you, I will use your config, at least until i can find a way to get a config that is also balanced (trying to get it as realistic as i can). Thanks again for your help.
