hotmailcompany52
So as the title suggests are there any things like the rocks on the mun and the tall grass on kerbin. Also there is a pic of tall grass atached to the post.
henryrasia
Yes, there are, but it depends on your terrain scatter density in the settings page. With 100% you'll need an extreme computer to deal with the lag it makes, but you'll have thousands of trees, tall grasses, and rocks.
vexx32
From memory, there are trees, bushes and grass on Kerbin (not sure if they removed the bushes, or if they were just the old trees they replaced haha), and just rocks on the Mun. Not sure if there're any scatters on the other planets...

Khrissetti
Yep, there are rocks on Eve, some of them float 10m above the landscape.
Creeperchair
From memory, there are trees, bushes and grass on Kerbin (not sure if they removed the bushes, or if they were just the old trees they replaced haha), and just rocks on the Mun. Not sure if there're any scatters on the other planets... Ike has rocks, according to a guide for finding the magic boulder, but the mundane boulders might be gone now too. problemecium
I keep mine at 100% and it really doesn't cause much lag. In fact my bottleneck at the moment is rendering the HD textures from Better Atmospheres.
CalculusWarrior
Fun fact (before the thread gets locked), apparently there is a very small chance for a Mun rock to appear as a sandcastle. It may just be on the main menu though.

r_rolo1
It is not a rock, it is a regolith castle ... and appears in the splash screen at game start (suposedely 1 time in 40, but I haven't seen it in game for ages). Now, on topic, there are some very interesting terrain features in some of the game moons if you activate terrain scatter ... say Pol:[spoiler=for spoilers ]From the wiki entry on PolToo bad that the plans of covering some of the system moons with giant crystals never gone out ... KerrMü
jep, that´s why pol is my favorite I think there are more bodys with terrain scatter, than without.
timsfitz
They all have rocks and stuff I think. Well, Laythe doesn't, but the rest do. Don't forget the cactus in the desert regions.
