CBase
Nominal orbital insertion Unfortunately there is no official mission timeline to reference here. Someone wrote on wikipedia something, but the link to a twitter press conference is not working anymore, so take it with care: ~ in 1 h: raise to 190 x 1400 km orbit on day 2: lower orbit to 190 x 750 km

tater
Gillis went out after he did and did more suit testing as well.
darthgently
The suits look very stiff with pressure, which is typical to some degree. I’ve been wondering about fast responding active pressure management. Something like when you bend an arm or leg the increased pressure is detected and air is actively pumped out of the suit into a reservoir and returned as the bending action relaxes. If it could be on a per limb basis that would be ideal, but having trouble picturing how to isolate the zones like that without tourniquets occurring, ha ha

darthgently
Was this on the news? I don’t watch the network news anymore. I hope it received the coverage it deserves. Excellent messaging

AckSed
Breakdown of Polaris Dawn's accomplishments, including a few of the tests performed on the fourth day: Interesting factoid: the violin performance was recorded, then downloaded via StarLink before the 'actual' performance.
