What do you mean "vintage?" What's the latest era the craft has to be from to be considered vintage? I have plenty of WWII-era craft - and a few from before that - if that's what you mean.

World War One:

Spoiler

• Fokker Dr.I
  • Same model as the Red Baron's (in)famous triplane
    • "Dr" is short for "Dreidecker" - which means "triplane" in German
  • WARNING: this replica's performance is poor, and plane tends to roll about its fuselage.

 

• Caproni Ca.3
  • WARNING: this replica's performance is poor.

 

• Kettering Bug
  • Development began during WWI, but was halted shortly afterwards due to a lack of funding.

 

Interwar Years:

• Martin NBS-1
  • The only combat it saw was demonstration bombing of naval ships and in the filming of a 1927 silent film.

 

• Martin B-10
  • It never saw combat in U.S. forces, but export versions did for Chinese and Dutch forces against Japan during WWII.

 

World War Two:

• B-17 Flying Fortress

 

• P-38 Lightning
  • I made this one while I was just learning how to use Breaking Ground props. I'm still struggling with them a bit, especially when it comes to fuel efficiency, but at least it's way better than two years ago.

 

• de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito

 

• AT-9 Fledgling

 

• Ju 88

 

• P-61 Black Widow

 

• Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka
  • Not recommended for pilots that wish to live to tell about their flight.
    • IS recommended for pilots that wish to die in a (literal) blaze of glory.

 

• C-46 Commando

 

• Me 262 Schwalbe

 

• Me 163 Komet

 

• VC-54C “Sacred Cow”
  • Modified version of the C-54 Skymaster.
  • Same plane that FDR used to travel during WWII.
    • This replica comes with an elevator in the back.

 

• Kugisho MXY-7 Ohka Model 22
  • Jet-powered version of the Ohka.
  • WARNING: in case it wasn't obvious from the last Ohka, this craft was used as a kamikaze weapon

  • It was towed by a larger aircraft before being released.

 

• Schweizer SGS 2-12 / TG-3A
  • Used as a training glider.
