Design notes:

I saw the new capricoruns command pod from tantares and immediately knew I had to do something with it, the pod has a kind of bulbous look so I kept balls and rounded bits as a major design element throughout the build, in the end I'm really happy with how the aesthetics of thing turned out, I'm a big fan of things that look practical and functional and I think I pulled off that look pretty well here.

There are a couple issues with the design, preventing it from being practical. First of all, I massively underestimated how much power cooling the liquid hydrogen tanks would take so this thing only works with infinite electricity. The center of mass moves up down as the fuel is used, causing a bunch of torque from the main engine. The main engine is also massively overkill, with a twr of 2.8 on kerbin. The landing engines have barely any fuel (45 m/s), so you've got to use the main engine for most of takeoff and landing. The front doors are really floppy, on account of being pretty heavy and held on with the smallest hinges so they move around a lot in flight.

The front doors were a bit of a challenge, the cargo bay is a funny shape and round it off in a way that looks good was going to be hard, fortunately the wrapper radiators from sterling systems were just the right shape to mostly fill the front up. This has the side effect of making the front doors glow, which is kinda cool.
