MechJeb 0.19 Auto Land a Shuttle

I tried to Auto Land a Shuttle using MechJeb 0.19 which ended rather badly as the Auto Land brought the Shuttle down like a lander causing it to get destroyed and the 3 man crew coming to a rather fiery death.

Is it possible to use Auto Land on a Shuttle or is it better to manually land with SAS or ASAS?

There is no "MechJeb 0.19". Either it's 1.9.8 (the official release) or 2.0.6 (the pre-release of MechJeb 2).

I mean 1.9.8 ( I got the number from the Space Port listing didn't open it up so just saw [0.19])

Mechjeb is for vertical landing. Use The Lazor system if you wish to do auto plane landing. In the Lasor guided fly system you will be able in input direction and elevation. You will need to use the throttle to slow down. But it will work. Hydro jeb will also keep to plane level but will require a bit more work from you. good luck.

If you want to land a shuttle use the ILS. It has a auto runway landing thing.
