[HELP] How to edit parts

Hi,

I need help in editing parts in KSP. I have read http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/CFG_File_Documentation but mass seems to be the problem. whenever i edit a part, the part seems to be too heavy or too light. please help

If the part contains a resource definition in the config file then the weight of the resources (units * density) will be added to the mass, so the mass parameter in the config is dry mass for stuff like fuel tanks.

Resource densities can be found in the config files in the Resources folder.
