I just wanted to let the web admins know I completely understand the situation with the forums and the spaceport site. Being I am a web Developer myself sometimes things do work out like we plan. On a note to you guys when you click the forum like from the main Kerbal Space Program page you get the forum down error just a fyi.http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/images/icons/icon6.png

Welcome, have you tried clearing your cache and flushing your DNS?

For some help with that here is Damien's Facebook post the other day :)

If you are still getting the old maintenance page, here's a few fixes for you that might work,

1. Clear your browser cache.

:Firefox: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache#Firefox

:Internet Explorer: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache#Internet_Explorer_9

:Chrome: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache#Chrome_v10.2B

The website linked above also has other versions and other browsers if I've not linked your directly.

Secondly, you can flush your DNS resolver cache. The following set of commands is for windows users,

Step 1: Click on Start Menu

Step 2: In the search for programs text field type, "Command"

Step 3: Click on "Command Prompt"

Step 4: Type "ipconfig -flushdns" without quotations.

The following can be done via the terminal on MAC depending on your current OSX version,

10.7 - sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

10.5-6 dscacheutil -flushcache

10.4 lookupd -flushcache

For linux users,

Restart nscd if you use it or flush dnsmasq

Hope this helps! -DR KSP CM
