Kerbal Grasshopper (VTVL)

This is the first SRB rocket I ever built, several months ago, I didn't expect it to get to orbit, but it did reach 4km and using the RCS Linear thrusters (8 of, mounted underneath the capsule), made a perfect 4-point leg landing right in the centre of the pad. Note that no Mechjeb was used (didn't even have Mechjeb back then, I didn't even know what MechJeb was back then)

MechJeb assisted. The payload is a three-Kerbal CSM weighing 13.37t that I also landed near the Launchpad. I estimate both craft are about 105m or so from the pad.

I'm so pleased finally completed this challenge.

22tn payload into orbit and 97tn landing back at KSC!! After a few attempts still not managed to land it on the pad:

Can I get added to the leaderboards pls. It's within 500m and leaves a 22tn payload in orbit.

Oh wait I never measured exactly how far way I was... doh.
