The first thing I'm gonna do is get some kerbals, rename them Maverick and Goose, load it up with missiles and then spend the rest of the day making Top Gun references.

That was my idea with the last 2 pictures of the album :D

The Concorde called, it wants it's intakes back

Our ramp intakes were indeed inspired by the Concorde and other similar intake designs.

Geez Tav, I go unconscious for a few hours, and you have the nerve to release awesome teasers. Seriously some people...

So...if that's based off the Concorde...Does that mean we can operate it for 27 years without catastrophic failure until we start charging $20,000 per ticket and overload the fuselage towards aft, and forget to clear the runway?

Never got to be on one of those things but they're so pretty...

The ramp moves, yes. We have a plugin coming that will open/close it with airspeed like its supposed to.

to bad you guys dont make landing gear cause they would be sweet

Landing gear might come, but its a lot of work to make an animate one. Not this update, anyway; like bac9 said before, this round we've mainly focused on engines and intakes.

will 2.7 then maybe feature IVA for the hypersonic cockpit?

And is it maybe possible to adjust the VTOL engines in such a way so we can stick 'em anywhere, not just on the green attachment nodes?

Seriously though, these look sweet.

We're waiting on the plugins and I have to finish one more engine for this release to happen. Can't really give an estimate though, plugins are out of my control.

Place a docking port on something, build or load payload and stick to docking port, then move docking port to surface attach to the cargo bay wall. At least that is how I do it.

i tried a radial attachment point, that did the trick for me.

Can someone explain how i can build something in the cargo hold?

If Read's method of using a docking port doesn't work I sometimes simply take part of my ship apart, add the payload and re-assemble.

Congrats on making the dev team Bac9!

Woah when did that happen? I clearly missed an announcement! Nicely done! Congrats! I think we all held suspicions of that happening, and hopefully it means your current parts, or similar ones become stock.

Selfish moment: Does this mean the future of B9 is uncertain? Or will you continue to develop it standalone in whatever spare time you have and decide to devote to it?
