Problems with Interplanetary Travel.

OK, i have gotten to Duna and back, a orbital mission to dres, but have hit a brick wall, for some reason no matter how hard i try i cannot land and return on Dres. I built a craft that i thought was capable but it is just so big and unwieldy it is useless. 50% collapses on the pad and 50% collapses on ascent. Any suggestions? (dont just give me a ship that can get there)

Try building an interplanetony ship in Kerbin orbit no? Don't think like imbeciles like" To go farther we need to build a bigger rocket and launch it in one launchlol" No, I built a Duna ship in orbit and it is great, it can carry me to Duna and back(maybe even a two-way to the Mun)

How about docking a ship together in Kerbin orbit. It doesn't have to be a large mothership, just a capsule, Lander and propulsion segment. Or you could get a single craft into orbit and re-fuel it?

Eh guys thx for the ideas i was going to save my first orbital construction flight for jool but i guess Dres will be a nice test run for it.

One thing i am worried about is the weakness of docking ports, they seem to wobble alot.

Have you tried the Quantum struts mod?

Its like a toggle-able strut that works between vessels

Quantum strut connectors? Nope, the struts will attach to the closest part in front of them when turned on.
