Yes im tyring to make an Iron Man type flying suit. (though more like Iron Monger) Its not been going well on the steering front.

If you're not averse to using mods, check out the pandora rover (its the curiosity look-a-like mod), it has a couple of v small radial engines which are part of its skycrane. They are pretty powerful with good ISP and vectoring, might help with getting him to fly. How heavy is it?

Right now the craft is unmanned with a probe core in the chest. But the head does have a Mk 1 pod in it.
