Icarus II - The Most Accurate Recreation To Date

I'm sure most everyone here has seen or heard of the movie Sunshine, and if not, you've probably seen people try and recreate the ship Icarus II.

A few of those ships have been decent, but most have been downright bad.

That changes today.

I present, Icarus II.

SHIP CONTROLS:

Do NOT use the staging (space bar) to control the vessel.

1 = Activates small radial boosters (meant to pull the large shield and bomb away from Icarus).

2 = Activates shield solid boosters.

4 = Activates Icarus's ion engine.

6 = Decouples Icarus from the large shield.

8 = Toggles instruments and dishes.

9 = Toggles constant rotation on the communication arms.

After spending so much effort on the sunshield, the rest of the craft looks a bit rushed and lacking detail, IMO. But I'm just nitpicking, it looks very good.

I agree, I could have made Icarus itself much better.

Given the parts that are available, be them stock or from Spaceport, I did the best I could with what I had.
