Crazy Rover

Does anyone else have the problem where your rover will suddenly spazz out for no apparent reason, like it's hit an invisible obstacle? I've been able to drive back towards the spot and have the same problem occur. It happens a lot around the Space Centre, but I've seen it on other planets too. This is a big problem for me, since the rover will usually break when it does this, which makes unmanned exploration of other planets a lot harder.

I have ground scatter turned on at 100%, and terrain detail set to low, would either of those be affecting it?

Edit: I turned off ground scatter, and I think I fixed it, my rover isn't freaking out anymore...
