A little something I noticed with the 2.5m "cam+target" part. The placement for the Cam seems to be a "little bit" off.

It seems the autopilot works well, but the cam is a little bit off. I think the Picture will display this issue better.

This is the correct alignment for the dockingports to dock, but the visual aid of the cam is far above the target.

Man, I realy can´t explain stuff.:blush:

Yes it is the 2m Part (The big one). The visual aid seems to be fine, and looking at it the cam somhow seems to have the right spot, but aligning the cross in the camview with the targetmarker results in the dockingport not beeing aligned properly. It may be, that the cross is not centred. Just noticed that in the Picture above. It rather is shifted upwards.

I broke it...

I put the radial HydroTech unit on a plane and brought up the Main Throttle Control and Precise Control windows. Then I lost control of the plane and crashed it.

Now upon launching a new plane the Main Throttle Control and Precise Control windows will not open. (The other ones that I didn't have open when I crashed are working normally)

And the log is now spamming this error: http://hastebin.com/tadaqelasi.tex

Restarting fixed the windows not opening, but the error is still spammed in the console. It might have been there before the first crash as well.

I just now crashed again and found that I couldn't end the flight. I suspect this is caused by hydrotech as well.

Could you make it so there is only a plugin and you only need to modify a .cfg file in the KSP/Plugin folder? The only thing that shuns me from this mod is the fact that I need to use parts that aren't vanilla. I believe it couldn't be difficult to assign the HydroJeb plugin to a hotkey such as Alt+J, similar to HyperEdit's Alt+H. Could just use whatever the player sets as a target, say the docking port on one side of the target craft. Select the port you want to use, the port you want to connect to, and then let HydroJeb take over. Of course the only parts that would make it possible are to add the AdvSASModule. Just edit some lines with that @PART cfg system and you should be set!

I'm just assuming it would be that easy. I tried, but coding turns my brain into mush.

I believe I've said somewhere (maybe in the thread lost to the forum breakdown) that I will not add the docking functions to docking ports because the docking camera/target thing is what happens in real life and I like it this way.

Hey guys I've finished my final term exams and I'm back for modding.

As you may know, I have been working on an ASAS, but C7 has made a new ASAS and it looks very good, so it's kinda eliminating the reason for I to go on with my own ASAS. Also, 0.21 has entered QA, which means it can come out soon, so I guess I have to wait for it to see what I can do with my ideas.

Before 0.21 comes out, I'll continue with other things listed in the plan (which you can see in #1). I think I'll start with the quantum strut thing, as lever arm involves a lot of maths, and I need to have a look at the new ASAS to decide what to do.

lately occasionally when i try to dock it will act crazy. it will cause the game to be unable to go back to the space center and when i choose the target it will cause the camera to fly away from the ships.

Sorry guys I've been so busy lately that I haven't played 0.21 nor 0.21.1 yet even though it came out long ago :(

Gonna work on compatibility first. Just give me several days

I tried this the other day and got nothing...... Parts would show up, but they seemed like hollow parts, didnt get any menu or functionality when put on a craft. I do run a fair amount of other mods...guess I should start cross checking on a clean install..maybe your dll has issues playing nice with another mod it didnt have issues with before. Haha, time to jack my test install up again..good times =P

Just a quick word on the next update:

Since I haven't met any bug in 0.21.1 myself, the upcoming update will be a feature-update.

Improved landing autopilot with option to hover at ASL altitude instead of true altitude. Very useful if you want to land on the VAB.

Still got some minor things to do, but I decided that I should release this update before September, since the last one was in June :(

What about the RCS autopilot window that keeps dissappearing?

(it works for the first launch, and every other launch you press Automatic translation and no window appears and the toggle doesn't go green.)

I have not been able to use your mod since 0.21.1

I meant this, in #1 (sorry if #1 is not called the OP, since I'm not native)

How to report a bug?

- List what other plugin mods (those with a .dll in Plugins folder) are used, and which of them are functioning. Also, if ASAS is on, please tell me.

- Describe what you did with HydroTech mod, and what the problem is.

- Check the debug console (Alt + F2) and see if there's anything in red. If yes, please post the content (which can also be found in KSP_Data\output_log.txt).
