Meh.

Kerbin doesn't have blobby continents and the lensflare is really overpowering.

It doesn't feel like there was enough effort put into it.

If you're going to make it a logo/mission patch or whatever, I suggest being a bit more simplistic.

Look at real world logos. Don't copy them but definitely try to learn from them. That goes for all artwork really.

I remember using twice as much lens flare then I should've.

Nice work, i don't think you need to worry about blobby continents, it gives the picture a touch of impressionism. The glare maybe tone down a little bit.
