Ya guess what I have to start over...why...I looked thru the persistent file and saw I was using Planet Factory which I am not using now as I am using Kopernicus/OPM/Trans_Kept...ugh arghhh...this means I need to grind but hey it'll be different...Resources...tons of them !

Things are okay sad and somber at home but okay...

Kerbal Space helps me thru ...

Hello,

If I do stream it aint gonna be long - I just spent 3 hours just trying to get it started...I think Contract Configurator broke it but I am not sure...I took everything 'CONTRACT' OUT...2 months on this game and I am losing my patience again.

Hi,

Ya 4 and 1/2 hours last night and a miserable FAIL...WarpPlugin crashed right I was like wow; nice...

So this morning I start over from fresh practically; almost lost some work but got that back; then I realize...NO COMMUNITY RESOURCE PACK...ya thank you have a nice KSP game...

SO ya I am back in bizness .... arghhh...I will be streaming this morning...confidence is high and I even deleted some more stuff (last night!!) to make memory room...I dread the next week...of course it will mean a break from KSP which I probly need...the game 'WILL' be ready when I get back now...what a mess last night and I thought I had a virus or someone was hacking my computer...my mouse was acting up; bigtime...ya ever heard that tune...'Sledgehammer'...? It's a good one an that concert in Brazil or whereever...ya really nice.

So far I had to restart the KSP Sim; Outer Planets is slowly becoming alive...I am at stage 2 of Career Mode (some contract grinding); then I get into some construction/science nodes...I have to make about $500,000 KerbalKash to upgrade my Science Facility so that is where I am at; stage 3 will be that grind to $500k+ KerbalKash...it will take a few missions...I am in hopes to construct a storage facility and a small Science station for resource testing at the KSC.

There will be a special prize offered a trivia solution in my SIM...a possible craft, flag, and a Kerbalnaut of your choice to name a facility...ya. I have already left a few hints...!

As for me I will be rolling out of here for a few days and wont be back til Friday...sad times...

As for The Kerbin Missions we are well underway...Stage 3/Tier 3 is in the works...lots of missions and a small bug fix with KSP...if you choose to have to pay for parts which I did in the beginning you cant test them if you havnt bought them; I will go this route in v1.0 but I changed things so that they are paid for upon research; in this way you can test parts you havnt researched.

The more difficult method of buying the parts to test before a contract can be started seems to defeat the contract's purpose; somewhat; it could go either way; but it is more difficult and may even be impossible to continue without having contracts available if you dont have parts to test.

The Science in my TREE seems adequate; I barely made Science 2 times so far to advance nodes; by 0.2 points; twice !!

I have to make $500k+ KerbalKash to advance to Tier 4 nodes; that is ALOT of KerbalKash and about 40 missions or so or more...

So I press onwards and forwards...I rolled out the first Resource Storage bin last night...some simulations are needed for ground transport ideas; I may touch on that later today; outside of that I am running contracts...I may have to upgrade the launchpad first at some point as well.

Storage facilities also cost money that I dont have yet and Contract Configurator is not installed (yet) so no resource contracts yet...

Hello,

I will be working on small orbiter designs; getting into orbit as efficiently as possible; reasons for why I build the way I do; the simplicity of it all; but with payload considerations as well.

I dont plan on being on too long I dunno how I feel.

Today...Oribit testing...orbit contracts...

Not much else to say about it...I aint in such a great mood and I need to get back in the swing of things...

I will say that Operation "Get-me-my-resources-like-yesterday" was in full swing this weekend and has been completed ! If you can guess just exactly what this operation is, not just the name but it's purpose, you win a trip to...well we dont know where yet...but yer name may appear in a few places of note; you get to plant a flag (or 2), and may be in the running for Space Operations Engineering support !

You must let me know in stream-chat; I have left some clues around and will be planting some more before the main event, which is the running of Operation "Get-me-my-resources-like-yesterday" !

Tonite I look into trying to setup a launch for orbits with specifications such as perigee/apogee mins/maxes etc...I havnt a clue...I tried earlier I was looking for orbital info at launch but there was none; probly due to the Satellite Comms Station not upgraded.

After a successful Kerbalnaut Rescue capture in orbit...I press on...the missions are gettin tough. I have about $200k left to go.

I know how excited you all are waiting to see my resource game....gettin there...I finally upgraded Science but I need more KerKash...about $200k to get to $700k+ then I can upgrade the VAB to which I can get my resource detection satellite up.

I have one satellite contract I am having problems with; maybe tonite I can figure it out.

I have plans for storage of chemicals at KSC to add to some realism in loading up the rockets before liftoff.

Finally made $300k ($200 to upgrade the VAB) and we have enough Science to upgrade a few nodes...namely Engineering (!) and possibly Advanced Construction.

Mind you that my Science requirements are 3-4 times that of the normal game, and are working out perfectly - IE I have barely made subsequent Science and building upgrade stages/tiers by following a strict contract filling process; ie not just getting Science to get Science for one, but waiting for a contract to get Science (!); to get the badly needed funds !

Tonite we upgrade the VAB and start thinking Mun, Minmus, and Resources !

I am looking at building up a space telescope of sorts, and some resource detection satellites.

To do this I need to upgrade to bigger rockets !

Well my computer KSP game has lagg hits now - probly cause I have so many MODS...if we have too many parts in front of us = lagg lagg...lagg !

So in building bases I want to try and minimize that; I have made many base sections have multiple processes to eliminate some of that lagg by minimizing the number of base parts.

Still I will end up having 3 or 4 modules 'max' hopefully....

I also need to learn some basics in modular construction...I had a few hiccups earlier I am trying to understand...

We are slowly understanding Orbital Specifications of contracts; the LAN is still proving to be elusive as far as achieving it on the first go around but the meaning of which is understood now. I know some just go with the orbit shown in the diagram in the comms center; we can use that as a guide for now.

I am finishing up the first satellite contract with certain specs.

Hopefully we can look into a Munar/Minmus design rocket...I am trying to move a 5 ton payload to 10mill orbit; it will be close.

It will have an orbital telescope for which we will have some fun with later...it does not work as expected; but I have a few secret tweaks !!! It will find moons ...yepper...ie moons around planets...

I hope to tackle this problem once and for all...

Aside from that I have contracts to do and they are getting tough; seems as timing is everything in launching for a respective LAN or Longitudal Ascending Node spec...I discovered the launch is pretty much immediate but just a few moments or so before the LAN is reached (from the launchpad); the exact angle and reference LAN is unknown; one poster suggested 0 deg as opposite the galactic plane; timing to orbital setup is at about 4 minutes I think; total time to orbit not yet figured in.

I need to figure out some engine placements in the Science nodes as I think I do not have access to the 650 yet.

Altho the name says we are going to Minmus, it will also set the stages (pun!) for Mun missions.

There are a few Orbital Contracts in process as well that need to be checked.

Our 5 ton payload has been exceeded and we cannot launch 10 tons; yet; and the contract paylod is about 12 tons; we are looking at a few trips...

There will be a polar orbit coming up as well and we will send up our first resource detection probe around Kerbin !

Today and tonite I will be trying to get living stations to both Mun and Minmus as part of Orbital Contracts.

I need to send 5 to Minmus and 9 to Mun...I have sent up a refueling station around Kerbin.

I am not sure of my Science requirement setup; I was thinking I had the 650 engine available in Stage 2 of the Tier sets (meaning the second upgrade of the Science building; I am trying to come up with plans to accomplish these contracts without using the 650; I think it is possible but expensive; I am looking at the contracts and expenses and weighing game balance issues. Using the 650 might be expensive but eliminate the need for refueling; I think this is too easy but there needs to be enough repeatable and affordable contracts to do it.

Some parts were kept and not tested and even allow certain lucrative contracts to be accomplished in the future, like the ones I am working on now; this is part of the total planning of being able to get thru the contracts in the first place; one just cant nilly willy drop contracts and expect the game to be easy.

With the advent of the 5-meter size, it looks like I may have to add a rocketry node; I am hesitant; I am just putting all the big stuff in the last node; I think 3.75 and up and the 650 was supposed to be in the next to last node so I am checking things.

There should be a way to have multiple engines on the bottom prior to that next-to-last node to accomplish what the 650 does and I think that is in the last Science building upgrade; Stage 3; so it should still be a problem in Stage 2 to accomplish Minmus/Mun missions.

Today and Tonite...

Altho the Minmus Project is still a go, I will be cheating on upgrading the buildings a bit quicker prior to KSP 1.0; I want to see the Tiers in the stock tree and I am too lazy to run KSP24 to do it.

I will be retesting DRE Deadly Re-Entry on a few select planets and moons (!); I am gonna try to get to Mun or Minmus thru my normal Science route even tho the nodes will be upgraded; I need to visulaize and locate rocket engines for their proper placement in the stock tree; I am hoping I can find a KSP 1.0 stock tree which I will look for; this will save ALOT of time for me.

I expect most MODS to work as is; I am strictly a Career Mode player; I will be using procedural fairings and probly delete the Squad ones as well as other Squad parts I dont use to save memory.

I am hoping Outer Planets and Kopernicus will still work...so I will be trying to get that sorted prior to KSP1.0; I need to have my moons placed with Hyperedit and currently that does not work; so....that means manual placement of every moon...not problem for this space kowboy! That my Kerbal Space Friends will be done offline - sorry no spoilers there !

I will be updating my Resource Tree since I can progress now with KSP; that will be on my website.

Karbonite is incorproated into KSP1.0; I dont know what they think they are doing but I probly wont even use Squad's resources; I will probly run up a CHEAT Career mode first off to look at that aspect to see if any of it can be used.

I am wondering about the CRP Community Resource Project...

So today and tonite I am looking into "DRAG" and see if it is used...they said it will play a more significant role...I havnt really tested de-oribit numbers but that will be affected haha !!

I will still work on the current Career and explain where I am 'cheating'...

I may have a ship for Minmus; it seemd the one I tried may even get to Mun and land on it; I am trying it again today just to be sure; it can hold 3 Kerbals.

There is an upgrade to the Comms building and I am not even sure what it does; I do know that I havnt been able to see the captures of the moon SOI's using Hyperedit so I wonder if that will work; as I recall Maneuvor Nodes dont even come up til the second upgrade; I dont even know when they do appear; even tho they make life easier, there must be other ways to see if a capture is made thru the math and avionics; I am still looking for this; anything to save Kerbal Kash.

I spose I still need to do a rescue; I sent a ship uo to save Jeb, Bob, and Bill who managed to sneak a ride; ya all 3 of them, in a contract mission; I also found out they cant EVA so I have try and send a Kerbal on an extrnal seat to orbit? I will check to see if that even works whether he can EVA off that; probly not.

Their ship has no chutes; I may just work on that problem I cant afford to upgrade any facilities.

I added a supposed contract to make about 10MILL to cheat since KSP 1.0 is due out on the 27th...I am still waitin on that contract.

My game is experiencing a possible worse memory creep; it could be OPM but I am not sure...

I will be streaming this morning, later this afternoon maybe, and tonite.

I got 2 contracts done last nite, sent one satellite up and forgot the mystery goo container...ya at 10Mill APO I rmembered I put the Laser on and dropped the Mystery Goo...nice...almost $100K right out the door; I am trying to think of what to do with it; maybe refuel it and bring it back.

I am in hopes to finally launch some mining rigs around Kerbin; this will cause the loss of contracts but I cant do them anyways so I want to see what transpires; contracts should repeat if they arnt done; we'll see; I am optimistic.

Jeb, Bill, Bob, and Oremone were lost due to a game freeze; or 2 caused by non-working Romfarer Lazer; I could have reverted but am trudging on; they should have made it if you lose those 3 you lose the game.

I rescued 3 Kerbals so far; satellite contracts are doable now I hope to send one to Mun and Minmus today as well.

I planted a contract that is supposed to give me 10Mill so I can upgrade the Science building faster; I will need to look at those other engines probly play sandbox this weekend to finalize them for KSP 1.0.

When KSP 1.0 comes out I may be offline for a few days to test a few things.

Due to KSP 1.0 around the corner, I cut some corners myself...I am setting up the detection satellite for a few ores...Bauxite, Limestone...then we will be making Aluminum and then Sapphire to sell to the Kerbin Black Market....believe it? It's True !

Stream is up but will restart in about 15 minutes or so after it drops...

Well I have a major problem with resource mining...it "IS" fixable but I am trying to solve it without 'fixing' it; I am hoping that the REGO resource addition caused the problem; that was removed but whether it crashed the whole game is unknown...

Watch as I attempt to bring life back to my resource game...cheats enabled ie I am using Hyperedit to get thru contracts quicker to get Science/Funds.

I am certain my resource game worked before I added the REGO resources (extra folder in Community Resource).

I will try to demo the Blast Furnace may take a game restart or 2 ...

Sayin goodbye to 90 it's been a fun ride - I learnt alot in KSP and am ready to take it to the next level in KSP 1.0.

I found my error in my resource detection...got that fixed...I am not sure when I will be streaming again maybe tomorrow nite...I want to work on a plane to get from point A to B for resource moving...I got an idea...I know it is called the rocket plane but hey...the way I see it, KSP is about rockets and space and getting things done in the most efficient and quick way possible...I have a goal that needs to be planed out like yesterday...if it works I say go with it.

Catch me if you can...I wont be in here til my KSP 1.0 Resource game is ready...for some reason Tech Manager bit the dust in 90 as well so I will be testing MODS offline this week; I dont expect to be back into KSP 1.0 for about a week it takes that long with the Tech Tree an all...

Wish me luck...I am ready for 1.0 !

This will be the last stream for about a week until I get 1.0 sorted out...it may even be 2 weeks or more I dont know...the most important MODS affecting 1.0 include MechJeb which I can wait for...the rest of the MODS I use should work seemlessly.

The one MOD I am unsire about is Outer Planets-Kopernicus; and Hyperedit which is a kraken-case sometimes anyways...I may be able to start within a week !

Tonite there is one idea that has been spinnin in my head...it is time for a look see...I may retest my drills real quick as well...

Well I am dissappointed the "Barn" did not show up...problemo number 1.

Number 2: No way to move the parts in the Tech Tree without going to each and every individual part in the MOD. Tech Tree Manager support is still desperately needed if anyone wants to edit a Tech Tree; as of now Squad has managed to cut this right out of the picture; nice...

I could cut Science in the settings; only pay for researched parts but this would void testing so that is OUT...I dunno I will figure out something...

The good news is that my Resource SIM...IS ON !! In fact part of it works even better !

I added a resource to Squad's surveyor to test but I probly wont use it...it is inline with REGO Resource Generator and I aint about to set resources for it; I may use it for a few special rare cases in the end game.

I bet my drills still work!

TACLIFE seems to work; I will keep adding MODS but there is one problem I need to talk about in forums...outside of that I could be playing this thing within a week.

I almost got all my Science node requirement levels set...25, 75, 150, 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1500; aero science requirements are somewhat less...funds and science remain at 100% game levels (as I adjusted my Science as above - non-linearly about 50%+ more...I didnt bother with funds...I want to play the game not grind my life away.

As for parts in the nodes - I am basically at the whim of the parts tech placements themselves; I aint goin thru every part but I AM moving some of them which are stupidly (yes you heard me right) placed.

I readded experimentalRocketry...ya!

I aint going into details - watch my stream and learn a moderate hardcore game/sim can be fun.

I am updating MODS slowly as they are ready...I want to be in this game this weekend...ya!

Oh and my resource game is nothing short of awesome...!

Man I have had some issues at home...I am glad I am walkin on water again...I guess I am finding a way to get my parts to the nodes I want them in using debug and parts; not the best but it works; I guess it aint so bad affterall once you get the hang of it considering I been hung a few times lately !

I forgot - I changed Unmanned to 499 as well as Precision Engineering; and Miniatures - pfft I made that 10 Science !

In fact I gonna stream tonite - we gonna take a serious look at HEAT ! The HEAT is on ! It will be a SIM...not the real missions...I may have a few MODS in and DRE will be worked on...I think I can use it but not sure...I know I dont need it but I want to check a few things...all in stream !
