Hello,

I aint feelin so great...so I probly wont be on long but the game loads will be quick as I only have a few MODS; reason is we are gonna try to incorporate Deadly Re-Entry...there will be a small number of changes to get it installed and I will explain.

Workin on HEAT...bring it on !

This will be SIM-nite tonite...I will preview my Science Tree and go over how I am changing the Tree...not the best but hey I guess Squad 'DID' succeed in getting something to work so ya - some kudos to 'em...!

Howdi...

Just a quick update...I got about half my MODS setup in the Tech Tree - ARGHHHHHH !!!!

What a major pain but it is getting done...

I am running a check now and working on more tonite...lot of work to do but looking good.

I want to look at MKS models and re-incorporate new ones if he has any...

Tested DRE - fail obviously and I had an epiphany after I wasted an hour or 2...I guess it was fun trying anyways ! Is it gettin too hot for ya !

My resource SIM is almost all reloaded...I may run some tests tonite...I added another special greenhouse ! Ya !!

Discovered something new...gads I got to refix that too...

Wish me luck...I hope to start the new missions tis weekend !

Hello,

I may have one more update...I am revamping (sort of) the Stock Tree...it is lookin 'Really Good' (!) now that I figured out how to manually move the parts I need; it is archaic as all getout but it works so kudos to Squad doin somethin along those lines!

I am workin on moving parts in the Tech Tree...some Stock parts have been moved out in the beginning to later nodes to reflect a more challenging Career SIM. I have added access to a couple nodes not normally accessed in the first set of tiers though to make up for it (harr who said I was gonna make it a grind harr) !

The main part(s) were decouplers - all moved out to General Construction which now has 75 Science (as well as Aviation (put the MK1 Pod in there too harr !!)).

The first Upgrade in the R&D being 100 is too low; I need it to be 150 and I dont know how to change it; I think there is a way.

I may be almost done moving parts...I should be done tonite...I have made a few stock part changes and upgrades to Engineering101 Harr Harr YA !!!

Looks like to my shegrin I will be flying some small planes this time around !!

But not the way you think...you will just have to watch my streams...:)

I am feeling abit better; watchin some streams...I may do a surprise stream or 2 between now and when I start the Career Missions; specify code '2-14' and win a place in My KSP 1.0 SIM...Hint: The answer is not '2-14'. You must also specify the code in my first career mission aviation flight; not before !!! That should give you another hint!

Quick update...I am almost done changing/adding MODS in the Tech Tree...I hope to do some aerodynamics 'Simulations' (<<<<) today - we are gonna look at the new Squad lift system; find out what hsp is, and why the lv-909 was nerfed; well I am un-nerfing it to some extent; I am giving it a MAX of 100 thrust but before I do let us take a look at thrust; how fuel control is used, and drag again and see how much of a role drag plays; there is also the lift visualization system we will look at that.

If all is good I should be ready to start career tonite. I am 200megs over budget on my MODS so I also still have to trim; wish me luck!

I also need to update my website but that is slow...

Quick update...

All is going okay...Tech Tree practically done...added more MODS...ATM is in...trying to work for 2.5gigs on startup...have 2.3 (with ATM of course now in aggressive mode)...added v90 Kopernicus/OPM for testing and running KSP 1.0.2 now...I still have to update more MODS...LOL but they are not part mods...everything is looking good as long as Squad Updates dont change parts so I can just port the parts over for the Tech Tree - it took 3 hours this morning just to revamp Squad parts in my Tree again.

With any luck, I may start tonite possibly later...I am hopful...I can probly start it anyways because I have almost all my parts in.

This has been another tough road for me these last few weeks with everything going on aI ma back to some kind of normalcy; been watching other streamers...they seem to be doing okay.

There seems to be issues with aerodynamics...it is weirded out but not to say the least...perfectly flyable, somewhat more realistic, and the landing gear seems tougher this time !

Wow my game just came up...2.45 gigs with memory creep...I gonna look at that at some point in life; earlier it wasnt creeping up but even after playing it still climbs regardless...looks like I am in the game...just a few more MODS to update and I am done!!!

Well my Career Missions came to a grinding halt yesterday - No Contracts !

When I asked they said you have to Escape Atmosphere and/or Orbit...the early beginnings of our Kerbalnauts dont have access to getting into space so early...

Re-Added Contract Configurator, MCE2, Coherent Contracts and Contract Packs...let's see if Contracts Are Back !

Then I can happily report to the forum the error of my ways ! (Edit: Ya that was it I have Contracts now !)

Tonite...well KSP being what it is we need to compensate...I have moved the 21h engine down to general rocektry...all the contracts are now orbit contracts...I havnt a clue what happened to the part contracts...maybe I can have a looksee...

As such I will be looking at the drag and liftoff angles again..they said to go straight up and the 45deg leaves less fuel...ie more drag going to 45deg??? Doesnt make sense...some drag mechanic in-game needs explanation I aint worried about it...but the engines I dunno...they are what they are and the players have done well expressing their concern I think about the drag issue.

Tonite we try to make an orbiter and do orbit contracts...

In reluctance to revert back to v90 I looked at the Squad Contracts and figured things out.......

NOW...

1) Surveys have more meaning...IE...More Funds...More Science...More Rep

IE More reason to do them...these contracts give ALOT of Science now...since my nodes are in the 250/500+ ranges in level 2 and beyond, I could spam doing them but only a few or so would be needed on any one planet/moon to 'acquire' resource and anomoly investigation priorities and success rates.

2) Added a few more resources to mine for AND ger credit for...ALOT of Science/Funds/REP and using the resource extractor I use as well as the ISRU; I will be locating that thing and revamping that too but some of that thing's resource extraction ability uses REGO-Resource; so we see how that works out and what the extraction/conversion rates are compared to mine. I will now have 2 possible means of ORE extraction/conversion...I DONT and WILLNOT use the resource 'MetallicOre'; if it is used it will be converted to metal and simple processes used to convert metal to rocketparts. This will all be outlined on my website.

3) I should now be able to get contracts to put up my own resource detector up...thus ALOT of Science please...

Current Software Licensing provides for 'Original-Only' works to be distributed; If I do release my Resource system it will be done as as such but dont expect it anytime soon. They involve heavy changes to TACLIFE, BIOMASS, MKS/OKS and whatnot...

3) 'Test' - The seemingly missing part test area of Squad Contracts was found...I made a few slight adjustments...IE More Science Please...

Sorry didnt get a chance to stream tonite...tomorrow nite most definitely.

I am noticing, if I am not mistaken, all the streamers with tons of viewers like to watch things explode and wait for the moment.

Well here at Zeta Streams we try not to have things blow up...sorry.

We try to play KSP the most resourceful (pun intended) way possible; we simulate when necessary to insure the safety of our few Kerbalnauts as now we have to hire them at a cost of $65,000 each...that is kind of expensive...Valentina EVA's but that's it she is broke...

I seem to be one of a select few of avid streamers playing Career mode (not Science mode with unlimited funds) and have my Science nodes set about 5 times higher than normal...the Precision Engineering tier being 500 Science for each node...PE was made an exception to make it available in level 2 (499 Science !); I made some exceptions due to the high cost of upgrading the R&D building which I feel is abit unbalanced; I havnt seen ANY streamers playing solid career mode; there is one playing Hard mode; maybe 2 so I am keeping an eye on them; I would like to know how they are managing; I upgraded Science gains to about 10x in the contracts now as I wasnt getting any; now it seems almost balanced; I am watching it.

The tours were set at 500; I left them and there is only 5 available supposedly - a total of 2500 Science.

So I should get 500 Science in 10 days using that lab? I havnt a clue how to use it or the other mobile lab.

I have added more resource contracts...havnt a clue when they will show...I may be holding up part contracts as I have one for the radial chutes I have not completed yet...I am currently finishing 1 survey mission which is giving me about $150K and 300+ or Science...I now have reason to fly these otherwise useless missions; they may be abit overpowered and have to be tweaked later.

I dont want my SIM to be so grindy that I dont want to play it either...big rewards = big fun !

I will also need to move rocket engines around as I succeeded to get the Science with the 120's now...

Look for me in stream this weekend !!! I see no Squadcast again...

I am worried about the funstionality of real chutes...they may get the axe...needs more testing and compare to Squads's.

Tonite I am proud to say that I can continue on with KSP version 1.0+++ (currently .2).

While I think there are only 5 tour missions worth 500 each I figure might as well leave it at that...Me and the Karbal Space Engineers deserve the push as well...afterall we are anxious to get on with resource hunting !!

I been busy with other things today...but tonite...it is KSP time in the Zeta cave...and it is about time...

So the progression is slow but sure....almost ready to upgrade the R&D...first orbit achieved...now they want a satellite in orbit...ya when I dont have probes for 100's of Science later....?

May have to fix...

With the VAB, R&D, and Launchpad upgraded to level 2 and a few orbits finally made; I am trudging my way thru level 2 Science and contracts; it is a challenge and not too grindy since I modified Squad's Science in their contracts; badly needed (!!).

I am working on a rocket to send a plane off further; not having much luck.

So onward finally...more work needs to be done figuring out drag but we are getting there...the use of controllable fins saves the day...

Certain 'pods' and unmanned pods may get shelved...making room for clouds an such...

Tonite...some suborbital contracts and more contracts...

I now have over 100 contracts completed...I am not seeing many streamers playing career mode...wonder why...

I would like to graciously thank the many viewers who have stopped in to say hi - you will be amongst the select few who will now have a place in my KSP Kerbol Solar System; for those who have hosted as well.

KSP has brought several challenges and I have to face them with objectivity; however it has been quite a challenge in itself as I have spent more time fixing MODS, Tech Trees, Squad parts, Resource Mining and Detection; I have literally spent more time fixing this game than I have playing it; I have not been a very happy space cadet.

Those that have supported my along the way I say thank you...

I will soon be on my way to Minmus; the contracts are taking up alot of time and hinder my Resource Detection Satellites as I need to command them to make them work on the fly; I would loose hundreds of contracts...so I can foresee a time where I wont be mining for awhile I dont know; this is the grind I have created for KSP...this is my KSP Simulator in which I am proud of my accomplishments.

It continues to challenge me in many ways and become creative - too bad more of you would not visit my stream...most of my visitors are during the day...I would like to see more at night - I am open to questions for new players.

I dont fancy big space planes - I see no need for them but that is just me. I have solved the drag problem and do have a few small planes in the wings - I am still working on a lifter to move a plane halfway across the globe; I perty much have it made.

I got the 650 Engine now and upgraded buildings and can answer most questions on how I will be doing resource detection and mining.

My KSP SIM is serious and grindy so for many of you it may be boring..there have been a few explosions here and there - no lost Kerbalnauts as of yet and this time Jeb, Bill, and Bob are in the thick of all the action.

I will give any readers here one last chance to win a place in my KSP Solar System for forum readers...I do use MODS to get pilots from chat on board but not at random; sorry you will have to earn your place.

I have left some clues in my last few posts or so for one puzzle...; I have one mission to gather a couple Science; if it is gone before the puzzle is solved, it will be more difficult to get in; and seats are already filling up.

I will also be having to raise the bar on my streams to 'Inappropriate for younger audiences' ; this is due to the harrassment I occasionally get from people who dont have a life and it will help to deter such activity; sorry to have to make people click twice to get to my stream; such is life...I also will be streaming more 'active' content; not that KSP isnt active at times !

Well I got some Science...finished the Contract I told you all about - no one offered to answer the first Quiz question so you all lost a premier place in my Kerbal System...too bad...looks like I get to pick the winners myself !

Science is progressing nicely...I just found out my drills died again so I got to look back into my posts....

Arggghhhh....

Tonite not sure if I am streaming but If so I have a long flight to do a survey.

Looks like I need to retest my drills now - offline so not sure when I will be back.

I am taking a little break from KSP til next week - off and on I need to work on Module Code again to get my Resource Game to work in 1.0.2; I dont need any luck this time it was inevitable and the fix was in my head already.

The resource MOD itself is being worked on I wish him luck there probly...

I did an impromptu stream today...looks like I can still play KSP while my resource issue is being worked on...I will be doing contracts around Kerbin to make some money...even flying a lil plane !

My resource game is on hold; I should get to fixing it and making it work (just the mining portion); as I mentioned Kethane resource detection still works like a charm in 1.0.2 so hopefully then can fix the resource converter.

Today...Contracts...possible upgrade to Contracts and LaunchPad to level 2/3??? I will probly stream for an hour or so...
