ISS - Kerban Style

So I was going through the wiki reading up on things and I came across the mission tutorials.

The very last one was on the ISS so I decided to build one in KSP and use only stock parts.

The only help I had was using MechJeb 2.0 to get the hardware up there and for the rendezvous. The docking was done manually.

I also found a PDF file from NASA that showed the major components of the ISS so I built those as well.

I have the Zvezda, JEP, Node 2 & 3, along with a couple of science labs already built in the VAB. I havent found any good info on the truss assemblies and solar panel layouts.....yet.

Right now, I just have the Zarya and Unity with the two tugs I used to get them together. The tugs are at each end of the assembly.

I will post up more pics as the station gets more built out.

I finally got the first three modules up and running.

However, I seemed to have derped the Unity module. The four docking ports are suppose to be vertical and horizontal and not criss-cross as I had built it.

Rats.

I debated if I should undock, trash the module, and send up the correct version but once I looked at the parts in VAB, I decided that it was easier just to undock, rotate 45d and redock.

Here are some more pics, still have the two tugs at each end.
