First Manned Duna Landing

Canopus

Recommended Posts

Finally, after 3 updates, sending dozens of probes to all the planets, building stations around Kerbin and the Mun and even constructing a Base on the Mun, i decided to set foot on Duna. So i began to build a Duna-ship

in Orbit, inspired by this picture:

6 Kerbals. 3 stay onboard and 3 land on Duna. After the Surface expedition returns, the lander is left behind. So i need 2 capsules to return to Kerbin. Its more of role-play thing than actually needed but i like a bit of realism in my Missions:)

Congratulations Camopus on your achievement! it also looks impressive to behold. Nice to see you had two teams with you, a landerteam and an commandteam and managed to bring them back succesfully! I'm still in the process of shooting satellites in orbit.
