It would appear that the ISP of ion engines is not shown properly in MechJeb. How can I figure out the total ISP I can get from a certain amount of xenon while factoring in the solar panels and mass of the spacecraft?

Mechjeb IS accurate, but the long amounts of time are unnerving because they don't seem right. Ion engines are supposed to work the way they do, even if Mechjeb states insane numbers like 13,000 m/s @ 24 hours for dV.
