ASAS and SAS together

I always turn off asas then turning. Thought the point of it was to stop the ship from rotating, yes had the system been a bit smarter it would auto turn off then you press wasd, it could not turn it self on automatically as you usually let the ship rotate until correct position and then turn it on.

Well, you have to turn off ASAS when turning. Or you won't turn. :)

Having it automatically disengage when you touch the controls would also defeat part of the purpose of ASAS... to resist turning. Pushing against ASAS to slightly tilt your ship is a great way to cancel lateral motion and steer during vertical landings. It's easy to make slight adjustments this way, without having to stop the rotation and manually bring the nose back to where you had it... just let off the controls and ASAS snaps the nose back where you had it. For bigger changes, that's what the override button is for (F-key by default, but I set it to my joystick trigger).

Quite possible that the home sas is actually an torque module or more probably an powerful sas + torque module, I have another torque module from I mod I always use one or multiple of on large ships.

I just looked through the part.cfg and the HOME 3m SAS is just an oversized and more powerful SAS part. It calls the stock modules, no custom ones, so it doesn't function any different than a stock SAS.

As it stands, I'm pretty sure there is no way to do so. I've tried looking through the action groups and right-clicking them, which ASAS units don't have menus for either.

I've tried those as well, with no luck. I was hoping that there was some magic way to do it that I had simply not yet encountered.
