It basically allows you to edit the orbit of objects, it has some other uses but that's the main one.

I prefer to use it to 'simulate' my landers on other planets; never tried moving planets' orbits before!

Actually, what would happen if you altered the orbit of a planet so that it hit another? That would be a "good" experiment

Thanks for the link. Before I do anything weird though, do you know if the changes I made are save-specific or not? I don't want to have to reinstall KSP or something like that because I messed up the Solar System too much.
