Will future Expansions Apply on Steam?

For a while I've been wondering now. Since those who have bought KSP before April get any future expansions for free what about if I have ported my game to Steam? How (if at all) will I receive these expansions? Will I be able to get activation keys or is there some other way the devs have in mind? I really hope I can receive these as I have bought the game some time ago, although I have just registered on the forums.

I'm not sure if you're the one to ask' date=' but screw it, i'm asking anyway. I bought KSP a long ways back, and recently transferred it to steam. Will I, and others who did the same, still be able to get in on this?

So given that this was a point of confusion, and that we believe that no matter what, a promise is a promise, we are including Expansions in what you can expect to get for free if you have already bought the game. Also, for those considering purchasing the game, we will maintain this promise for all purchases made until the end of this month (April, 2013).

And would people who bought it on steam from the start be able to accept this offer? (Just curious, have a few friends who bought it off steam from the start))

*sigh* Yes, anyone that has purchased KSP, either in the store or from Steam, before tomorrow gets in on the deal.
