3D Kerbal Model

So, I found a 3D model of a kerbal on this thread. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/27720-3d-model-of-Kerbal

And I've been working on giving it some armature, so some people could use it in animation.

Heres what I have so far.

I've been using Mixamo for giving armature and animations.

Heres a FBX file of the kerbal with armature, I just have no idea what a FBX file is or what to do with it.

I don't know why, but that model reminds me of something...

Animation looks good, well except for the part where the Kerbal's hands clip into its shoes.

That would be because it's the same model i've been using, (i kind of gave him a copy)

EDIT: Btw, sorry it doesn't have the texture, the model i sent was untextured, and only had materials in blender.

I know that other people have been using this model, but it reminds me of something other than a Kerbal. Still don't know what it is though.
