Hello Kerbonauts and rocket engineers

Hello all,

well, I´m playing KSP for since its release on Steam. I´ve already build some things in kerbins orbit and on its moons, like a little moonbase an space station. I´m really enjoying this game, unlike other games KSP seems to become more and more interesting as more you do, especially when you´ve done a great step in your space program and then want to do more :sticktongue:

I´m now preparing my first manned interplanetary mission to Duna.

I´d watched the Forums now for quite a while and finally decided to make an account to get a bit better involved into the community

Please ignore grammar and spelling errors, I´m from Germany and my written English is probably not the best :)

Greetings from Northern Germany :D

Welcome to the Forums! No worries about your English. It's fine! If you make a lander that can make orbit in kerbin, it should have plenty of fuel to land on duna, take off, and return home. I didn't do the calculations when I built mine, but I imagined it would be about the same. Good luck and post some pictures of your mission!

P.S. - Remember aerobraking is your friend when you arrive at duna and when you return to kerbin!

Thx :)

I´ve already planned the landing on Duna, just waiting for the transfer window. If everything works fine I´ll just need ~2500 delta-v for the spaceship and 2200 for the lander, but failure is always an option as I noticed, especially in KSP
