Fyrem
Mods allowed or stock only?AP to match Kerbin orbit?weight of helios? or can we use any probe style/weight we care to.
duncan1297
mods are allowed but nothing crazy. I guess the challenge is just to recreate the speed and orbit as closely as possible. it dosent matter what its weight is but if it looks like the real thing you get bonus points
Fyrem
well, just to say : it will not be possible to match the speed AND orbit of any 'real' craft in KSP. This is due to the fact that KSP celestial bodys and the real Sun/Earth do not match. We can match EITHER the orbit (and at which we will have a speed much slower than the Real helios,or we can match the speed, (and we will have an orbit that extends far past Kerbins orbit).but just for the fun, I will try to match the graphed orbit, and will let you know what the PE speed turns out to be.I will aim for a PE of 3,157,883 km (1/2 of Moho AP), and match my AP with Kerbin's orbit :13,599,840 km Edited May 9, 2013 by Fyrem
