ISA MapSat Pulgin doesn't work with my 0.19.1

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I looked for a post about this all over the forums, but I couldn't find one. I've been using the ISA MapSat plugin for quite a while now, and it's served me pretty well. However, during my recent update to 0.19.1, it seems to crash the game into a million pieces. Am I doing something wrong? Here is my procedure:

1. Copy the ISA MapSat file from the old KSP/Plugins folder into the new one

2. Copy the MapSat folder from the old KSP/PluginData folder into the new one

I have been running 0.18.4 with no issues whatsoever. However, I run KSP on an ancient computer (Dell Dimension 8300, from '03 I think) that doesn't have a working internet connection anymore, so I have to re-download the game every time on this [Mac] computer and then bring it to the other one on a flash drive, which makes me do all the updating manually and rather slowly.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much!

Have you checked to see if there is a newer version of it on the space port? Also, you may have to clear the plugin data for that mod. Per the author.

My procedure for updating mods is simply to either redownload them, or else copy them over from the file I had originally downloaded. I think your problem may be that you are copying over the already scanned planets, and this causes issues with the game. Try downloading a fresh version of MapSat (located here for your convenience) and see if that fixes the problem.

Well, I suppose I'll try that. Thanks! :)
