I totally need to hollow Ike out, fill it with MMM corridors and colonists, strap some engines on, and send it to Tau Ceti.

You should add a crew tank-esque module that fits in with the rest of the parts in the mod. It would make it easier to keep large amounts of kerbals on the base at once.

The issue with the central connector should now be fixed and is available in 0.3.1.

Kinda sorta got one on the go, things need to be re-done, the inside needs to be re-done and textures need to be added.

That mission control tower looks awesome so far. Really enjoying the updated parts, and looks like theres just more goodness to come!

Just a thought....some tanks in the same style would be awesome. Fuel+oxy and rcs for sure, a kethane tank would be super too, if possible.

the OP has a little vid of how it looks put together

also, haven't tested with the update, but in 0.19 I was actually landing sections verticaly and pulling them over with a KAS equipped rover...granted I only tried this on low-g planets/moons. Kinda pointless if theres an atmosphere since you can use parachutes or airship envelopes.
