That works but for organizational purposes you can make other folders in GameData. For example, I put mine in:

KSP\GameData\Promii\Flags

Keeps stock and mods separate this way.

I believe that was taken off google. I may be wrong, but I'm fairly certain I used that image years ago as my desktop wallpaper. Not to mention it's just the Maple Leaf. I'm sure it's fine if you use it.

One Hundred Percent Correct! I just did a google search for Canada Flag Weathered and VIOLA! There were a bunch that were copyrighted, but as far as I could tell, that one was free game. Go for it.
