I agree they belong in a museum. Hopefully many will end up on display somewhere.

But imagine fitting the Apollo navball thing to your car!

Museums only have so much room, and there is a lot of hardware that's been into space and back. A lot of items like these are already in museums, and it's entirely possible that some of these items are former museum pieces that got replaced with other things.
