Cant Target Space Station Core

When i click my core's orbit it always comes up with a random piece of debris instead of the core.

Are there any mods that organize this?

It's impossible to target my station.

The way i do it,is zooming in and then either click on the ship/station etc. intself or its orbit. Always works for me.

There's the Haystack mod for this, but if you don't want to get it, try to adjust the map view camera so that the camera is as close as possible to the target and then click on its orbit and target it. You can also try to get within 100 km of the target so you can target it in normal view (double click on the target that is labeled with the name of your ship).

Get the Haystack mod. It adds a little collapsible list of vessels that you can target from.

You can also use Kerbal Engineer Redux if you're trying to select your station as a target.

Just press RDV (rendezvous) then select your target type (station, celestial body, etc), then choose.
