Establishing Mun Colony

So what mods are on this ?

Well. The landing legs look like they're from B9 Aerospace. The Cupola looking windows are from KSP stock part expansion. The trusses look like they're from the Tri-Hexagonal-Strut mod. And the engine looks like it's from Kosmos Angara. But i'm not sure.

Correct, Except on the matter of the engines, they're from the tri-hexagonal strut mod as well.

Great pics, i have no idea how you guys get such heavy items out there, i'm well behind you, my space program mostly consists of probes and simple Mun landings.

Thanks! Read up on how delta-v is calculated and what it means, there is good stuff on the wiki, just so you understand what factors play a role. Then download the Kerbal engineer mod if you don't feel like doing the math on your own every time. it will calculate your delta-v for you as you build. Knowing how it is calculated will mean you will have a good idea of how to change the results that the engineer mod is giving you without a bunch of blind trial and error. pay attention to your thrust to weight ratio too. If your lift stage has a TWR of right around 1 that means it can barely lift itself and will struggle to get off the pad even at full throttle, shoot for 1.5 to 2. The lander above has a TWR of 7 with change, in the Mun's gravity anyway. I overdid it there because I wanted to be able to stop its deceleration quickly. It worked out well but there might be a better way to do it, I'm no expert.

Here is the launch vehicle as requested. its has only three stages which I'm sure is less efficient than it could be. The outer engine clusters (7 novapunch sls-175 Bearcats) are the lift stage. The center engine, (novapunch "little mother") circularizes the orbit and performs the transfer to munar orbit depending on the pilot it may even have fuel left to start the descent to the munar surface. the engines on the module itself are for the descent and landing.

that was mentioned earlier in the thread but here you go.

Legs: B9 aerospace

Cupolas: KSP parts expansion

Struts: Tri Hexagonal Strut Pack

Engines: Tri hexagonal strut pack

Hi, I love the look of this. I've downloaded all these mods, but I'm getting missing part errors, looks like most of them are from the tri strut mod. any ideas what is causing this, have things been renamed in the strut pack?

I remember seeing this base a few days ago and I built my own version.

The tower was meant to be launched and crash into the surface but i misplaced a few parts.

the "rover" in the back is a bus to transport kerbals around.

Wow. I totally need those Tri Hexagonal struts. My Munar habitation module is sitting at a little over 200 parts adding in aesthetic paneling, and those struts kill two birds with one stray decoupler.
