Triggering an animation with intakes

How would I go about triggering an animation with an intake? Forward for when it opens, and reverse when it closes?

Good question, I'd like to know as well... Currently im doing it manually/

I think event messages get sent to all MonoBehaviour derived classes (PartModules) on a part, so you could presumably implement the open/close intake events in another partModule to activate/deactivate the animation and have them automatically triggered.
