How to do odd angles and clip parts in VAB/SPH?

Recommended Posts

I've seen some pretty radical designs out there. Downloaded a few craft files. But for the life of me, I can't figure out how to do some of these ships myself.

Specifically - How do you attach a part at an angle off of a 90 degree direction change? Say you want to meld two wing segments together and in order to get the wingshape you need, you need to clip part of one through the other. But not at a 90 degree angle. More like a 10-30 degree angle.

What're the commands for this sort of thing? I've tried looking through the forums but apparently my search-fu is not strong here.

Hold SHIFT and press the QWEASD buttons.

Thanks guys. It was confusing me because I was trying to do that very thing, and all it was doing was swinging the camera perspective around. Then I remembered I had customized my keyboard set-up. I went in and added alternate key assignments for the stuff above and now it works as intended.
