I know that this particular page is well over a year old but I'll use it as an excuse to thank the devs for creating a game that allows us to tinker with ships that look almost exactly like the ones pictured in that gallery.

I'm still hoping that SKYLON will ever see the light of day; reading a book about the HOTOL project when I was a kid was part of the reasons I got interested in space.

With the Skylon project, I know the prevailing opinion is that the project will be scrapped before the craft is completed, but what about the engines? Do you think it's likely these will be successfully completed? It's the most important part and if that is completed they could be used in future spaceplane projects.
