That same weird spazz out of his model near the end of that video happened to him and he then killed himself. I have a few of his last moments captured. All of this because I didn't have a Parachute

These legs work great if for some reason you decide to try and land an Orion. (Well actually they get a bit twitchy if you put all the weight on them, the game doesn't seem to know what to do with all that mass, but that's not unique to these landing legs. They are great for helping it not topple over.)

Someone in the Orion thread is also using them to help grab an asteroid.

awesome, thanks for sharing that post. I've done some pretty funny stuff with them, like turning over a toppled Duna lander. I'm looking forward to seeing more ships with them, especially the original size legs.

Also, I would get a kick out of it if anyone could tell me where the inspiration for these came from.

it drives very wierd mate, what's going on with the wheels?

What issues are you having with the wheels? I just opened up the craft file and they are working, although the rear wheels are placed a little high. I may change the stats on the wheels but I haven't had any weird things happen while driving around with them lately - you are supposed to be able to slide with them btw.
