How do I shut off physics warp?

The game won't let me shut it off, I keep mashing alt to toggle it off but it won't.

"ALT + <" (decrease warp)

"ALT + >" (increase warp)

You will automatically use physics warp while in the atmosphere.

*Or, I suppose, under cases when the ship is undergoing enough force to prevent timewarp from enabling

But i'm in space, I mean It won't let me use regular time warp

If you're "rotating" too fast, then you cannot timewarp (Ahem, violate the conservation of momentum).

It just crashed on me do it must have been the game.

Never mind, still not working, and I'm barely rotating at all.

EDIT I restarted the flight and it seems to be working.

Mass / Size of the ship?

The "rotating" is just an example of force, if the ship is undergoing a large amount of internal forces it disables timewarp.

Of course, you could "warp" the ship by switching to a different vessel (i.e. a probe) and warping from there.

If ASAS is on, sometimes the torque from the capsule is enough to prevent timewarp from engaging.
