At Wayland Corp, we have experimented for some time in alternative ways to help Kerbals achieve their dream of flight. After reading some of the recent topics on kerbal launching devices, we felt we should drag the old test model out and dust off the cobwebs. Originally designed for a Kerbal Funpark that was underfunded and therefore abandoned, we decided to up the motor assembly with a 9 phase 6.21 gigawatt motor and see how far we could launch a kerbal.

Kerbal Rights Notice - Only Synthetic Kerbals are used in Wayland Corps Testing facilities. No real Kerbals are ever harmed (...intentionally)

There are several models to choose from, but the KP-1 is probably the safest so far. We are just tweaking the swing, as sometimes it can have a tendancy to ... um.. obliterate the subject. When we can successfully launch a Kerbal from the Launchpad and land him at the Spaceplane Runway, we will release this test model. Many upgrades are planned and a plugin is also in the works for extended flight capabilities.
