This is the 3k (triple K-prize) SSTO prototype I did to test to the K-Prize challenge.

Triple K mean that this spacecraft is able to do three complete Orbit missions (on a standard 100Km LKO) still having the SSTO specs.

This spacecraft represent cheapest way in KSP to ferry Kerbanauts from/to Kerbin/laythe orbiting spacestations (that is of only 237kg of fuel per Kerbanauts for a lko 100km)

3k prize run

This aircraft prototype concepts (fuel, weight, engines, crew access, air intakes...) generated one of the better FatNose space inc. aircraft ever: the B9-X3k-doubleSunrise that is a B9 AereoSpace Pack modded craft.

The stock-3k-DoubleSunrise has better performances (efficiency) mainly because the minor weight, the canard design.

There is also (upon request) the amphibious version of this craft.

I did not was in mind to publish this craft, because I was not satisfied about the design: is ugly.

But the performances of this piece of iron deserved a publication.
