Hi there + Question about usage of the game

Just wanted to say hi all and ask a little bit of a question.

I've been subbing in as a physics teacher for a month (regular teacher broke his leg and won't be coming back at all this semester)

And well we're at the end of the year here, most all projects are turned in for the students, and we're about to hit the short little segment about space physics (orbits and such).

Now honestly I'd never herd of this game till a week ago a friend showed it to me.

And well I had a thought.

Still don't have the full game, but would it be allowable to throw the game on my teaching laptop and show it to the students. Perhaps even have as a last project for the year, they can get a few bonus points for the class by making it to the moon and back or something?

Just a little thought since several other classes usually spend the last couple weeks just watching movies, it'd at least be something a little different and interesting (though some of the students won't be as entertained as others, but thats how most teaching goes)

Either or I'm still getting the full game cause I've already lost about 8 hours to the demo (I can reliably get to the moon and land on it, now's just getting back)

Hi there and Welcome to KSP.

By all means feel free to install on your laptop to show your class. If you check the FAQ link on our home page, you will see we have an item pertaining to educational use of KSP;

I WANT TO USE KSP FOR A SCHOOL , MUSEUM, OR ANOTHER EDUCATIONAL RELATED PROJECT, MAY I?

Yes. Kerbal Space Program encourages "Space Education", please send an email to contact us if you run a project or class where you would be needing several licenses, so we can work with you.

Cheers!
