Reports about Kraken sighting

Even though the Deep-Space-Kraken perished in 0.17 on Bop there still are sightings about weird spacecraft behavior.

What are you latest encounters with the allmighty Space-Kraken?

On my latest flight, Kraken ate my LES:

I jettisoned the LES on ~35km, it flew away about 5km and when catched up with it again, and it got as close as 2.5km and therefore was loaded, it exploded and suddenly moved coherent to my still accelerating spacecraft in a distance of 2.2km

My rover shook and vibrated while testing on kerbin but i didn't think anything of it and took it to the mun anyway. Was still shaking but not like on kerbin. Then after flipping it and reloading a quick-save, my rover was promptly swallowed up by the surface of the mun, never to be seen again. (no mods installed, was using the new med rover wheels and a seat)

The Kraken is dead, it was related to bad physics calculations at high speeds. This is a new bug, so we need to come up with a name for it. How about the "Space Serpent?"

Son of Kraken. Mechakraken. UltimaKraken. Kraken's Revenge. Beaked Horror of the Void. Leviathan. Bob's Bane. The Binary Entity. bleck.

An experience I had today. Two in fact. The first I had landed for my second time on the mun since the update, and I just came back to my ship from marking a Munar arch with a flag. So whathisname Kerman comes in using his EVA pack to to the lander. And once he lands, the lander is GONE. How gone? 17 km per second going away from Mun gone. Oh and my space station imploded and exploded when switching to it to align for docking.

How about just calling this bug "The Olethros Bug" if memory serves (and it usually doesn't) it's ancient greek, basically meaning "Random Destruction!"

This might be the best name for it. Better than anything I could come up with. :sticktongue:

Why not call the new beast The Maelstrom? Its about as deadly as one. Mg experience was me launching an apollo style mission, I had 4 mainsail engines suddenly detach on launch, the center sectko fell to the ground and thd mainsails collided them into the lander and flung everything into the air, it nearly killed my 3 kerbals, all of which were more nuts than jebediah! (I don't even KNOW how that is possible!!! O_O)

I haven't experienced this yet. I did notice my new 6-person mun rover getting a dose of the shakes at about 7.4 m/s but beyond that nothing yet... Also: Why does a rover handle like a hovercraft on the Mun?

I started to play this great game just few weeks ago, i never experienced the Space Kraken and, to be honest, reading the forum i was figuring some kind of weird monster that would give the game an arcadish unwanted flavour...

But yesterday evening, testing a new .20 rocket i experienced a mad behaviour of it, while trying to burn prograde to raise my orbit... and i understood...

I don't know if the community will decide for a new name... the bug is related to physiscs... but my feeling was like if some evil presence was driving my rocket...

Some kind of "Dark Jebediah" that just bypass your pc input... so that's my suggestion... :)

(also MadJeb or DarkJeb...)
