Yeah, right. If that happens, we will never get off Earth. There were problems in Spain in the 1500s when Columbus set off to the Americas, you know.

That seems a little too trite to be based on anything other than wishes. My position isn't absolute, I don't believe this is a black-and-white universe and space exploration IS very cool.
