LeonG17
The Chobit is a chobit. There. Debate ended.Don't the chobits come in different genders? If you look at enough comments you should be able to work out chobits gender.

Canopus
Do you want Star trek discussions? Ok then, what did you think of Into Darkness?I hate the new Star Trek stuff. It lost everything Star Trek stood for: Exploration and Discovery. Its just action and explosions like most modern movies:(
Trekkette
I liked Into Darkness. I made a point of avoiding all the spoilers I could, and disbelieving the ones I did find. Of course, after reading the TvTropes page on it, I like it a little less. I was fine with not noticing those plot holes, tyvm!It was really funny. When the true identity of the villian was revealed, Chobit and I very audibly went *GASP*. Only people in the theatre to react. We got weird looks. I also got weird looks for wearing my tShirt with TREKKIE across the front. You could totally tell who was there for STAR TREK and who was there for, hey new movie, though. Made me kinda sad. karolus10
Personally I like new star-trek, it's different but Kirk/Spock combo is good combination for action movies as well .I would like to see at least miniseries of star-trek with new movie crew, but it can't happen I guess .EDIT_1:Also Star-Trek the video-game, wasn't impress me... I must try bridge commander again, some day (game is quite old ,but still had some appeal left). Edited May 27, 2013 by karolus10

Made me kinda sad. There's a TvTropes page on it? I know what you meant, it was clear in my cinema who was there for star trek and the rest. It all depended on their reactions to previous star trek references, there were none from the rest of the audience People probably gave you those weird looks as they would of subscribed to the stereotypical version of a star trek fan and you broke them all. Trekkette
I dislike Zoe Saldana as Uhura. I have no idea why, though. Karl Urban makes a great McCoy, Zachary Quinto does Spock really well, John Cho is great as Sulu (HOLY FLIYING PIGS, Sulu in Into Darkness was PERFECT), Simon Pegg as Scotty is a little sillier than I might like and the guy playing Chekov (whose name I can't remember and refuse to look up...) plays the naive ensign really well. I like Chris Pine as Kirk, too. At least this new universe rebel!Kirk. Granted Prime!Kirk was never less than a cowboy anyway. He at least pretended to deliberate. Nu!Kirk... doesn't.There's a TvTropes page on it? You're Welcome
