Surgery cutter beam aren't always the perfect one, You can use wider beam and do larger damage over time.

I see lasers as perfect weapon for taking down incoming missiles, especially on ships where bulk is less essential.

Also You can imagine that overkill lasers can easily (by accident or in purpose) damage objects in orbit :-|.

In my opinion, the better weapon would be using a narrow laser beam to ionize the atmosphere, and then sending a high current through. Do it on both sides of the sensitive electronics and watch unprotected drones crash.

That would likely be used if the area is overran as a last resort. Or perhaps as a way to enforce a no-fly zone?

Dudrie Kerman has done something successful!

I never really realized how far Kerbin actually is from Minmus.

Next mission! Send him into Kerbol to repay him for his valued service!

I'm actually going to add more fuel to my nuclear transfer stage (not shown) and combine that with this lander to make a larger lander so I'll be able to return from duna.

An official "chit·chat" thread... so exiting :> !

I am fighting the activation of my Star Trek fangirl mode. Trust me, you don't wanna see that. Ask Chobit. Apparently we're never going to the same movie ever again.

Give in to Star Trek! And what did you do? Or we will be forced to pursue chobit. Or even Google!

Edit: So there will be KSP cosplay in the future as well as female Kerbals? Yay!

Star trek is one of few Sci-Fi franchises who aren't triggering my "Hard Sci-fi" hater mode ^^.

EDIT_1:

People don't understand bronies, but seem's to ignore devotion of some trekkies (I had pleasure to meet some hard cases...) :D.

Is that mode by any chance a result of KSP?

Edit: You have a...ummmm...interesting imagination Rage097.
