The Kerbals decide to rally together and defeat the humans. The Humans strike back quickly, firing upon every planet with a solid surface. Everything changes. But somethings survive: on Duna, the face of a massive statue lies on a piece of stable crust, surrounded by an ocean of magma and rock. On the Mun, a few statues still stand. Munoliths were created to store info on the kerbals society, and are scattered around the solar system. A dying kracken arrives at its final resting place on one of Jools moons. A massive crater marks the location on Kerbin where the -E beam struck. Otherwise, destruction is speedy and complete; only a few thousand kerbals survive on Kerbin, which wasn't hit as hard as all of the other planets. Old traditions are lost, and the tales of days gone by become nothing but legends. As time goes by, the kerbals rebuild their society, and soon begin to set a course for the stars once again. Meanwhile, somewhere in the Kerbol System, hidden eyes watch and wait, until the time comes to signal their masters to return.

Over half a century later…

Life on all other planets (almost) were destroyed. Kerbals are exploring the solar system again from their new KSC, near the crater where the E-beam struck. They believe that the Kraken were destroyed by the Humans.

Kerbals have landed on Duna, Dres, Laythe, and are now launching for Eeloo, sending a heavily armed cruiser, the KSS Integritum KS-1203.

At Eeloo, unknown to the Kerbals at Kerbin, Jeb Kerman and the Eelooians have made a society, in which Jebediah is king. (he sits in a throne of SRB's and wears a crown of Sepratrons.)

Meanwhile, at a sinister-looking ship in low Kerbol orbit…

Mechani-Kraken mind1: Kerbals are taking over the system again.

Mechani-Kraken mind2: Apparently.

Mechani-Kraken mind1: They are sending a ship to Eeloo. This is not acceptable.

Mechani-Kraken mind2: Really?

Mechani-Kraken mind1: YES REALLY!

Mechani-Kraken mind2: Why?

Mechani-Kraken mind1: Grrr… BECAUSE IF THEY GET THERE THEY WILL TAKE OVER EELOO!

Mechani-Kraken mind2: So what?

Mechani-Kraken mind1: The Eeloo colonists returned there, along with Jebediah Kerman.

Mechani-Kraken mind2: I thought they were killed by the Humans.

Mechani-Kraken mind1: No, they were evacuated by a Kraken ship, then were brought back.

Mechani-Kraken mind2: So, what's your point?

Mechani-Kraken mind1: It is time for the Krakens to return to the Kerbol system.

Mechani-Kraken mind2: The real Krakens? In the flesh?

Mechani-Kraken mind1: Yes. In the flesh. Wait, we're real krakens too!!

Mechani-Kraken mind2: Yeah, but we are only conduits to the Krakens' intelligence.

Mechani-Kraken mind1: Incompetent fool… Anyway sir, you should start sending Krakens to Eeloo. The Kerbals are heavily armed, but they believe that Kraken do not exist.

Master Kraken: …

Mechani-Kraken mind1: Sir?

Master Kraken: Yes. Very well. The Kerbal ship must be destroyed.

Mechani-Kraken mind1: But the ship must be destroyed before it can transmit a distress signal. *Channel Closed*

Master Kraken: Hmm. Kerbals heading for Eeloo. Not good.

1 hour later:

Kraken 1: Where are we going?

Kraken 5: Eeloo.

Kraken 20: Eeloo?!?

Kraken 5: Eeloo.

Kraken 32: But-but-but Eeloo is so far away, a-and I want my mommy!

*Lead Kraken tears Kraken 32 apart*

Kraken 32: ARGMPH!

Lead Kraken: There is no room for Kraken sissies on this voyage. We must destroy the Kerbals' ship before they get to Eeloo and see the cities, roads, etc.
