Successful landing, and then . . .

Despite being one of the old hands, I've always found the whole "Landing on the Mun" thing difficult. So it was with considerable joy that, after downloading the wonderful Apokee stock Apollo-style spacecraft, I managed to land the LEM on the moon. After a little while tooling around with its twin rovers, the boys jumped back onto the LEM and headed skywards.

I thought for a while I'd not be able to managed docking, but somehow I did it. WINNER! Now comes the easy part - going back to Kerbin.

Today I learned that if you have a high enough speed, you can slam into Kerbin and explode spectacularly before the time warp has the chance to drop into a more reasonable setting . . .
