Open KerbalSpaceProgram/GameData

Hello, I'm trying to add a flag to my game, but I am not sure how to open the Games folder. (Wow, talk about a scrub-lord...) Can someone tell me how to get from the desktop to the gamedata, and I can manage the rest of the way there.

It might be useful to know that I have the game via steam.

Let me guess.... You are on a Mac?

If you're running Windows, the default installation directory for Steam is

C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Kerbal Space Program

You'll find the game data folders and the like in there. Best of luck.

For the Mac, you have to open your harddrive, "Users", your username, then click on "Go", hold "Alt" and go to "library".

The "library" foulder is hidden, but there you can find the data tree.

If you're on a Mac, select "Go" at the top left, and then "Go to Folder". Type in "~/Library/" to get straight to the Libary folder, this isn't neccessary if you're operating on something before OS X Lion, however. From there, go "Application Support", "Steam", "SteamApps", "common", "Kerbal Space Program"

If you're not on a Mac, then someone has already answered.

Running windows 7. It seems my problem is getting into Program files. I tried everything I could think to use.

Hm... "Start" -> "Computer", then pick the "program" folder... It works here.

I found the Kerbal Space Program folder but the only thing in it is the game shortcut (I downloaded it from the main website not steam) Can you help?
